Sacrifices during wartime
After hearing about our Commander & Chief's decision to give up golf during war-time, I couldn't help but compare it to these posters:

That reminds me of the stories my parents would tell about The War and living through it. I have a cookbook that has pages glued in at the back about how to do without and how to save fat for the war effort.

But look at you! You're alive and everything!

What are you up to these days?

My first thought when I saw the woman sewing the boy's pants was, "Wow, they really did want every man to bend over for the war effort."

Then I realized she was sewing.

What's really sad is someone dug up video of him playing golf shortly after he had supposedly given it up.
